ANY VESSELS ANCHORING FOR DAY OR OVERNIGHT MUST BE REGISTERED BY US SO WE CAN NOTIFY THE MARINE SAFETY DEPARTMENT:

Other vessels may not be allowed overnight or during the day, so please register so we can manage! This is a safety issue!
NOTE! APPROVED, REGISTERED AND CLEARED VESSELS MUST BE ANCHORED OUTSIDE SWIM LINE,
STERN TOWARDS THE BEACH AND MUST LEAVE 20 FEET BETWEEN STERN AND REFEREE DOCK/GAME COURSE!
All athletes must be registered members on USAWP, minimum Bronze level

--> 2) ROSTER ID CHECKS:
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH USAWP, BRONZE LEVEL MINIMUM.
Please go to the event stage prior to ALL your matches for roster ID check.
This is also how you will acquire your free event shirts (7 per registered team), additional event shirts available for purchase while supplies last

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING ON BAYSHORE BETWEEN 54th AND OCEAN! – PLEASE SEE https://beachwaterpolocup.com/sample-page/
for PARKING INSTRUCTIONS (This is a street Closure daily from 9am to 5pm, you will be ticketed and towed!)
(NO RV PARKING except admin RV)

--> 4) BUDDY SYSTEM:
This is a public beach! Please arrange for your athletes and spectators to use the buddy system. Pair up individuals to constantly monitor one another on the beach, in public places, AND ESPECIALLY IN THE WATER! Notify event stage and lifeguard staff immediately if anyone is missing! We are using a public VHF marine band channel for the refs to report scores and can advise the Lifeguard Staff which channel that is in order for them to monitor in case of emergency. In addition, we have a PA system for announcements and the usual Hawaiian Reggae (mostly!) music for your relaxing enjoyment that we can also use for any urgency.

--> 5) THE GRAND FOOD AND BEVERAGE:
The Grand Food and Beverage will be on site Saturday and Sunday. Delicious Steak and Chicken Tacos, Hot Dogs, Chips, Bomb Pops, Waters and Soft Drinks will be available at the set-up near the event stage.
Note that BBQs are NOT allowed anywhere on the beach

--> 6) Areas will be marked for allowed spots for canopies.
NO CANOPIES OR LARGE UMBRELLAS WILL BE ALLOWED IN FRONT OF THE STAGE LINE OF SIGHT TO THE COURSES.
Again, this will be clearly marked.

--> 7) Flotation devices are okay, just not on the side on the courses between the beach and the courses, line of sight so spectators and event management can see the courses, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR COOPERATION!
